An Integrated Approach to Health and Well-being

A holistic, integrated approach to health recognises that issues such as stress, anxiety and depression involve both causes and effects operating at different levels of mind and body. I use a range of therapeutic tools that combine effectively to address needs at every level.

  • Nutritional and Biochemical

  • Does the body have all the raw materials it needs to sustain positive well-being? Do the cells have enough energy and can they utilise it effectively? Can the body effectively dispose of toxic waste?

We can address these needs with Nutritional Therapy.

  • Physiological Control

  • The main control systems are the brain (especially the Autonomic Nervous System which controls the "fight or flight" response) and the hormonal system.

Can these control systems respond flexibly to stress and challenge? Are you producing too much or too little in the way of stress hormones?

Besides psychotherapy, biofeedback is an effective tool for addressing these needs.

  • Psychology

  • Have you developed all the skills and resources needed for living life? Examples are social skills, emotional self-management and the ability to focus and pay attention.

A personalised approach begines with assessment of your needs as an individual. Read more about the assessment tools available.

I'd like to emphasise that nothing is imposed. We'll work with whatever methods will suit your wishes.

client testimonial

"I have found biofeedback invaluable in treating my anxiety. With the help of this technology I became aware of the physical impact of my anxiety, and learned effective mind-body skills, which have helped enormously in reducing my anxiety. Before attending Glyn's therapy sessions, I tried many other treatments and strategies to reduce my anxiety. I would say that the strategies Glyn uses have helped me by far the most."
